Stuck in Ravenholm! (after the fence)

I did a search first, and the only other requests for Ravenholm have the the
electric fence, so I hope this post isn't redundant and I missed the answer
for mine somewhere.

OK, I'm like right next to the church, in some long alley. I think I see
where I need to go, into a window, and I see the path of roofs, balconies,
and planks I need to go along to get there, but I can't get up there!
There's a 2nd story factory-like room with a lever that makes a pincher like
thing move down a cable, nearly over a hanging corpse, and I can see it
becomes a platform to help get to the open window.
I've been over every inch, and I can't find where to go up to the rooves.
The closest clue I have, is way around the corner, right next to a "Loading"
zone back where I came, a small room with a corpse on a bed and a door that
makes the sound of opening, but doesn't. I think I see stairs out the window
of the door. But I can't get through.
Anyone know where I am, can give a hand?
I'm completely stuck!

You have to go back up onto the roof and you'll see a walkway along
the roofs towards the church. You have to jump a couple of roofs to
get there, its near the meat hook thingys. I played with that but
never used it to progress.

Hehehe. I was stuck there all evening too. Here's what I did.

Once you get the suspended cart to roll out next to the hanging corpse, go
around the next building to where you will see some boxes stacked up. They
can be used as stairs to get up to the roof. From there, you'll have to jump
to the next building's ledge, and up a ladder, and onto the suspended cart,
etc.
